Gentry Hardwood Floors warrants to the original purchaser that when used under normal residential indoor traffic conditions, the Ceramic Oxide finished flooring will not wear through for 30 years from the date of original purchase. The warranty is activated when the original purchaser submits a completed warranty card, which can be obtained from Gentry's website to Gentry Hardwood Floors.
Gentry warrants its flooring products to be free from defects in milling, fusion and grading for the lifetime of the floor when properly installed and maintained in accordance with NWFA's guidelines and standards.
When accepts a warranty claim, Gentry Hardwood Floors, at its sole option, will repair or replace such portion with the same product or similar product of equal value. If the floor under this warranty is unable to repair after several attempts, Gentry will refund the purchase price of the portion of the floor. All claims must include a verification of the purchase and information of the installation. The finish must be worn through on more than 10% of the total floor area before Gentry Hardwood Floors is obligated to take action under this warranty. Gentry will not refund the installation cost or any amount beyond the purchase price of the floor, and Gentry Hardwood Floors reserves the right to use a NWFA licensed inspector to inspect warranty claims to determine course of actions.
Wood is a natural material, variations in its grain patterns, knots, colors and mineral steaks, etc. are not considered defects, and seasonal wood floor expansion and contraction are normal wood characteristics and therefore no warranty shall apply. Gentry warranty does not cover indentations, scratches, stains, or damages caused by negligence, exposures to fire, water, excess heat, dryness and moisture, extreme cold, high-heel traffics, natural disasters, failure to follow proper installation requirements and procedures, improper maintenance, insufficient protections, misuse, or improper alternations of the original factory product, color and sheen level changed over time. Gentry Hardwood Floors accept no responsibility and is not liable for cost incurred when a floor with visible defects has been installed, and Gentry Hardwood Floors is not responsible for matching new flooring to existing flooring and molding trims.
This document is the complete and exclusive statement of the express warranties provided herein. There are no implied warranties extending beyond the terms of the warranty contained in this document. Gentry Hardwood Floors assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary state to state. The sole remedy provided herein is the repair, replacement or refund for the defective products.
Gentry Hardwood Floors liability under this warranty will not, under any circumstances, exceed the actual total price paid by the original purchaser for the flooring.
